Light Gauge Steel Frame Buildings

Cyprometal is expanding its products and services by introducing the design and execution of light gauge steel framing buildings.

This technology is already widely used in Europe, the US and all over the world.

Advantages of Using Light Gauge Steel over hot rolled or other engineering materials for your building:

Strong but Lighter systems,
easier to handle and transport

Less expensive, including material, reduced construction duration, reduced labour costs, reduced scrap, reduced construction waste

Faster and easier erection and installation

Sustainable, made of recyclable material

Durable, resistant to termites and rotting

Safe for residents and good performance
at natural disasters

Easy to remodel compared to concrete structures, partition walls can be easily shuffled, detached or changed

Design Flexibility compared to concrete structures, larger span lengths available due to less weight of structure and space utilization is increased

OUR VISION IS...

‘To continually evolve, maintain and strengthen our leading position in the National Market Leaders in structural steel, known for our ability to deliver projects of any complexity, to the highest possible standards.’

Cyprometal can offer the below material options

Option 1:
PRIME GALVANIZED STEEL (HDG) COILS AS PER EN 10346 S550GD Z 275 g/m2

Thickness 1.15mm

Option 2:
MAGNELIS ZM310 GRADE S550GD
HyPerTM. Thickness 1.15, 1.50mm

HyPerTM (High Performance) combines high strength metallic coated steel with excellent cold form ability.
High TS/YS ratio prevents geometric distortion during forming linked to material springback.

The Magnelis ZM310 coated coils, from which the light gauge profiles can be made, provide many more advantages in light gauge steel framings:

  • Excellent corrosion protection for indoor and outdoor applications
  • Corrosivity class C5 according to in SS-EN ISO 12944-2
  • Self-healing effect ensures excellent edge protection
  • Best and most cost-effective alternative to post-galvanised steels
  • Wide feasibility range
    Excellent processing properties
  • Environmentally friendly
